JAN PHILLIPS (Carol) Jan is so happy to be working with Jarrott Productions for the first time. She has been involved in theatre in and around Austin for several years. Some favorite works are Well with Different Stages, Last of the Red Hot Lovers for Paradox Players, The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later with North by Northwest Theatre Company, and Steel Magnolias at the Palace. She performed for Paradox Players in Third for which she was nominated for a B. Iden Payne award and was most recently seen onstage in Different Stages’ production of John Gabriel Borkman. Jan is a cofounding member of Southwest Theatre Productions and had the pleasure of performing in their first production, Dear Penelope.

AMBER QUICK (Claire) Amber is thrilled to make her debut with Jarrott Productions.  An Alabama native, Amber landed in Austin by way of New York a few years ago and has had the pleasure of working with wonderful companies around town like Zach Theatre (All the Way, James & the Giant Peach, One Man, Two Guvnors, Mary Poppins, Charlotte's Web, The Great Society), Present Company (Hamlet), The Vortex (Changelings), and Austin Shakespeare (Cyrano de Bergerac, A Streetcar Named Desire).  Local awards include: B. Iden Payne - Outstanding Ensemble Performance - Spiker, James & the Giant Peach; and B. Iden Payne, Austin Critic's Table, and Central Texas Excellence in Theatre Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Drama - Stella, A Streetcar Named Desire. 

JANELLE BUCHANAN (Patricia) Janelle was most recently seen in Austin Shakespeare’s Present Laughter. Also with Austin Shakespeare: Man and Superman; An Ideal Husband. Zach Theatre: The Grapes of Wrath; Dividing the Estate; August: Osage County; Doubt; Our Town; The Laramie Project; Omnium Gatherum. Mary Moody Northen Theatre: Ah, Wildnerness!; Love and Information. Other regional theatre: In the West; Macbeth; Dancing at Lughnasa; I’m Not Rappaport; You Can’t Take It with You; Steel Magnolias; A Delicate Balance; Bleacher Bums; Edmond; The Birthday Party, among many others. Janelle has numerous film, commercial and print credits and is the recipient of multiple theatre excellence nominations and awards.

MICHAEL MILLER (Ian) This is Michael’s first appearance with Jarrott Productions. Recent credits include: The Great Society (Dirksen/Levison/Ensemble) and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (Bob) at Zach Theatre; also at Zach: One Man, Two Guvnors (Gareth/Ensemble); All the Way (Hubert Humphrey); The King and I (Capt. Orton/Sir Edward); Last Night of Ballyhoo (Peachy). Austin Playhouse: Disgraced (Isaac). Austin Shakespeare: Present Laughter (Morris); A Streetcar Named Desire (Mitch); Othello (Iago); Medea (Creon); Cyrano de Bergerac (de Guiche); and Pride & Prejudice (Darcy). Shrewd Productions: Glassheart (The Beast): City Theatre: The Miracle Worker (Captain Keller). Mary Moody Northen Theatre: Galileo (Cardinal Barberini/Sagredo). Training: BFA in Theatre from Texas State University and MFA in Acting from UT Austin.

STEVE WILLIAMS (Mark) Steve has spent the last decade performing for Austin area audiences.  Recent credits include: Laurence in Lone Riders, Mr. Webb in Our Town, and the Narrator in Blood Brothers, with Trinity Street Players. Other performances include Benjamin in Rent, Houdini in Ragtime and ensemble in Les Miserables (ZACH); Evita, Lend Me a Tenor, A Few Good Men, Hello Dolly, Beauty and the Beast (Georgetown Palace) Sleeping Beauty (The Vortex), and Assassins (Soubrette Productions). Steve has designed sets for Georgetown Palace Theater’s productions of Cabaret, Wizard of Oz, Grease and Tarzan, for which he won the 2016 Broadway World Austin award for best scenic design.

DAVID JARROTT (Brian) David was seen earlier this year in the Zach Theatre production of The Great Society; also several others at Zach including: All The Way; Ragtime; and Side Man (Austin Critics’ Table Nomination, Best Supporting Actor).Other regional theatre: It’s A Wonderful Life at Penfold Theatre; Freud’s Last Session (B. Iden Payne Nomination, Best Actor) and The Price for Jarrott Productions; The Beautiful People (B. Iden Payne Nomination, Best Supporting Actor) at UT Department of Theatre & Dance. Last summer David served as a staging consultant for one of the plays in the Chelsea Rep LAB’s annual Festival of Short Plays in New York City. 

BOB TOLARO (Director) is a professional actor, director and stage manager.  He has directed Pride and Prejudice and Romeo and Juliet at St. Edward’s University where he is an adjunct professor of stage management.  He has also directed for Austin Shakespeare, Zach Theatre and Different Stages here in Austin.  He has served as Production Stage Manager for national tours of The Foreigner, The Greater Tuna Series, Menopause the Musical, and the Broadway production of ANN at Lincoln Center.
